□ Name: Hibari Kyoya
□ Series: Katekyo Hitman Reborn
□ Canon point: 282 (This is TYL Hibari, his older version)
□ History: http://reborn.wikia.com/wiki/Kyoya_Hibari
□ Personality: To describe Hibari Kyouya one may use the words, rigid, cold, violent and fearsome. Hibari is a very short spoken man, sharp edged even if he has mellowed a little with age. He will never say more than is necessary or engage in idle conversation for the pleasure of it. His 'catch phrase' is "I'll bite you to death" referring to the two tonfa he uses, outfitted with retractable metal teeth. Hibari is a man with a lot of pride in himself, who enjoys a good fight more than anything.
Hibari can be cocky when in a fight, but with very good reason. This being that Hibari rarely finds someone who can defeat him. All due to a combination of excellent fighting skills and a determination to not lose, that allows him to press his body past its limits despite the severity of any injuries he's sustained. He is not the kind to become loud when irritated, yet with a cold glare can let you know just how irritated he is. Irritation plays a large part in Hibari's dying will flames. It's how Dino trains him to use it and the man’s flame is impressive, even in its beginning stages, even more so in the future arc. The more irritated he becomes the stronger the flame is. Also he seems to become fiercer when irritated. Hibari comes off as the type who thrives off fighting; it excites him when his opponent is strong. Outside of small animals and Namimori Middle, fighting seems to be the one thing he cares for, always seeking the strongest, most skilled opponents. So he can prove he is the best. He also uses these skills to maintain his own form of 'order'. If Hibari feels someone who wishes to fight him is too weak or not at their full strength he will not face them. He only wants to face the best. Although don't think this means he won't attack you if you irritate him, weak or not. Hibari will not concede a defeat in a fight he deems unfair. This is most clearly seen in his continued fighting with Rokudo Mukuro.
Hibari also thanks to Mukuro has a large distaste for illusions and mist users. What would come close to his world’s equivalent of a magician, so to speak. Due to this distaste, he is very attuned to illusions and can see through them more easily to fight as time progresses. One small irony to note, the only other flame Hibari is able to use is the mist flame. In a fight where illusions are used he will attack even more fiercely than normal. Also be warned, even if not engaged in combat with him. Let Hibari believe you are using an illusion and he will attack.
Hibari seems to hold to some Japanese traditions this is mostly seen in his 'hide out' and dress style at home which is revealed in the future arc. He was also the only student to enjoy the school's anthem. He had it set as his ring tone and even trained his pet bird 'Hibird' to chirp the song. This is another example of Hibari's pride through how he showed it as a young man for his school. His dislike for everyone excludes very few people. Only those he views as strong or wishes to fight will receive any kind of approval from him. Although, he does seem to harbor a soft spot for small children (some of them at least, such as I-pin who gave him a Valentine) and small animals. Hibari is a light sleeper and waking him up is ill advised. Even ‘Hibird’ would only do so under dire circumstances. Despite being a delinquent Hibari is shown to be a very intelligent, cunning young man and he only becomes stronger in his attributes as he gets older.
Further evidence in his pride is his refusal to be in debt to anyone, he may become a little calmer, a little more on the thoughtful side as he has aged, but he is still sharp edged, proud and solitary, all things which will never change about this man. While in the future his care for small animals is shown again in how he fusses quietly over his small hedgehog box animal when it becomes upset at injuring him with one of its spikes.
He is the perfect Cloud Guardian as he remains aloof, even as the other Guardians become closer to each other. Yet, he is still there, a part of the unit, yet not. He will protect them, they are the only group which can gather in front of him and Hibari does not react in his normal not having it manner. It cannot be said he is friends with them, as he keeps himself apart, making him hard for the other Guardians to read but he is always there when needed and does his part as a Guardian. He also seems to tolerate Dino and acknowledge him as someone worth fighting, having spent one on one time with him while they traveled and fought as part of Hibari’s training. These would be the only relationships outside of ‘Hibird’ that Hibari can be said to have. He does come to respect and want to fight Tsuna, in the future as he sees the young man as someone strong, however, not so much with younger Tsuna.
To sum things up here, Hibari's personality makes it simple to see why not only students, but teachers and citizens of Namimori , both feared and respect him, even when he was just a boy. It also shows why he is the obvious choice for Cloud Guardian. He remains distant, removed from the core of the family unit. But like the protective cloud blocking the sun's rays he will protect and or defend the Vongola with that natural ferocity of his. Just remember he is really nobody’s friend, in that he will not want to 'hang out'. He is a very solitary creature and prefers it this way. Hibari will never tell you what you want to hear. But he will be bluntly honest with you. Never expect to change his mind once it's made up. Very few people are capable of this. There is one last thing to remember, if you irritate him, form a group in front of him or use illusions he will "Bite you to death."
□ Age: 25
□ Gender: Male
□ Appearance: Hibari is a tall, wiry man with dark raven hair, olive skin and dark eyes. He rarely smiles and will when in public be dressed in a neat business suit, when in private he reverts to more traditional Japanese dress in the form of a Yukata
□ Abilities/Powers: Hibari possesses two tonfa that are outfitted with retractable metal teeth as well as a chain with a small weapon like instrument on the bottom. Hibari uses his tonfa in all altercations, though the retractable teeth have only been used when he is getting serious. The tonfa are shown to hold other weapons as well in the form of hooks and spikes. Hibari is shown to be excellent at hand to hand combat, dealing a great deal of damage to his opponents. He has undergone training with Dino and as such he knows how to use his Vongola Cloud Ring to emit his dying will flame. Without a box weapon however this is not likely to be of any use to him. However he burns through rings when he is using these, as his dying will flame is so intense it breaks the ring after one use. As evidence of his fighting ability, he is ranked number one on the list that Mukuro's gang uses to target the strongest fighters at Namimori Middle. Also his training under Dino was to add to his fighting experience as his technique and ability really needed no work. As well as a ploy to keep him out of Namimori during most of the battles, because of the damage that would be done to the school.
Hibari’s box weapon is that originally is the Cloud Hedgehog, a box weapon that he opens with his dying will, containing a small hedgehog that is capable of multiplying itself into many instead of one, the hedgehogs have sharp spikes and can easily injure an enemy. When combined with his Vongola box these hedgehogs become even larger but with less spikes. His tonfas are now cloud wind tonfas that he can use to channel his dying will flames and make his blows even stronger.
□ Personal Items:
Tonfas (I’d rather these than his box weapon)
Two cloud rings
His Yukata
Two clean suits
□ First Person Sample: [Video, short but sweet, he is not talkative…]
It would seem you all like to crowd together, I’ll tell you once, do not let me find you crowed.
[There is the show of a tonfa, a sharp gaze that is saying one thing, leave him be or he will bite you to death and with that he ends the transmission, nothing more to say and preferring as always to be alone.]
□ Third Person Sample:
Dark eyes came open in a slow movement, the instant they did it turned into a sharp glare. His head was groggy yet that did not stop Hibari Kyouya, his tonfa was at the ready and he tried to go for the man across the desk from him but there was something stopping him and this only made the Guardian glare that much harder.
He took several repeated attempts at the shield to try and break it, yet there was never even a scratch. When he ceased his eyes were that of a cold blooded killer, sharp, ready for blood as his tonfas were tight in his grip, ready to take a piece out of anyone he could.
The man then calmly explains the situation to Hibari and the man scoffs “No one will control me.” Nor did he need a re-education; Hibari needed no one or anything. The beads he attempted to throw back at the man and yet they found their way directly back into his possession and this further incited that cold irritation in him.
“I will bite you to death.” And he meant it, this was no veiled threat but an open promise, he would take whoever had done this to him done, sooner rather than later if he had his way about it. His pivot was sharp as he stalked from the room and headed for the indicated festival.
If he could not kill that man, then he would find another to fight, smoothed out with age or not, this was enough to incite Hibari as he had not been incited in years and the thrum of it in his blood had the man smirking.
Ready for a fight, ready to prove he was the strongest, ready to prove that he needed no one, not even here in this strange world.

Both are ongoing threads but this helps show his voice better, especially since his first person is so short, but to have him say more would be very ooc for Hibari.
